A commanding fusion of industrial and organic aesthetic, Design + Conquer is best described as a breakaway design faction. Specializing in bespoke accessory and garment design for an array of contexts, Canadian designer Morgan Mallett explores new design territory through the use and creation of innovative materials and techniques. An eclectic background in art direction, graphic design, painting, and athletics inform her work, as well as collaborations with musicians.
Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, DC's accessories and garment designs have been featured in editorials, retail stores, and museums around the world.
About DC's Sewless Collection
All pieces in Design + Conquer’s Sewless collection are made from sustainable and ethically-sourced Portuguese cork fabric. Tabs, slits and scoring are used instead of traditional sewing methods. Sewless is an adventure in removing an element from the garment manufacturing process...generating less waste. The collection was inspired by The New Division's album, Precision, and the need to come up with new ways to responsibly produce garments. View the sewless preview video here.
